How many Exige S’s can you find for 25k? Just because one onwer sells for 25k doesn’t mean the market changes overnight.
How many Black Performance Pack NA Exiges can you find on the market apart from this one? and how often do Performance Pack Exiges, let alone PP Black Exiges come up? One chap waited months for the right Performance Pack Exige.
thanks for your comments blacktoy. I totally agree. I had a good look on pistonheads and autotrader and priced it accordingly. Considering the year and the mileage its one of the cheapest on there. As i mentioned before, i will listen to any offers.

A red 2007 exige s with sports pack, super sports pack and electric windows with only 3000 miles went for �27,500 recently. There is no way any form of na 05 exige is worth anywhere near 23,000. An 05 doesnt have probacs, leds, lighter electric windowns (or some don’t at least), uprated pedal box for easier heel n toe which is essential; you can’t price it high purely because of a rare colour and spec. Then advertising on a member club forum is well at an extortionate price is even more taking the piss IMO.
The 05 does have twin oil coolers, race seats, four point harness, stage 2 exhaust and no sound proofing. You also get better throttle control than on the fly by wire 06 Models. Whether you like it or not black is a popular colour and people tend to pay a premium for a performance pack. Is it worth the asking price? probably not but then again the guy is open to offers. leds, electric windows, probacs - wtf? its an Exige not an electric chair.
I can see you heeling and toeing your way with leds, electric windows and probacs, your going to need all that luxury and weight on track.
And why can’t you price it high because its a rare colour and spec? are you not familiar with demand and supply?

but seriously - I thought we had agreed that if we were not interested in the car for sale that we would just read it and move on. If a car doesn’t sell then people have to ask themselves why and sooner or later they’ll get to the answer.

The electric windows are actually lighter than the manual ones as is the 06 pedal box lighter and I’ve heard people having the brake pedal modded and it still not as good as an 06 car. Also if you don’t heel n toe on track the clutch is going to lunch itself pretty quickly.

Thats funny coz my brakes were fine after I threw the stock brakes in the bin. My clutch is fine with 40k miles on the clock, I’m obviously driving like a girl so I’ll be trying this heel and toe business soon.
You realise that most Performance Pack Exiges will weigh an honest 875Kg with most Touring or Super Touring Pack Exiges weighing 900Kg+. Not to mention the Exige S which is anywhere between 935Kg and 950Kg?
i certainly did not see any rules on this forum regarding how to price cars for sale in this section, however i did clearly notice Mr Admin’s rules on replies on for sale ads.

You are obviously not interested in the car so maybe you should read the above and i suggest Admin should remove exxxige’s posts.
As ive said before im open to offers on the car and priced it by looking at what else is on the market with pistonheads and autotrader. Its still one of the cheapest on the market for the age and mileage. If a couple of people who were desperate to sell let their cars go cheap thats up to them.
If someone has several examples they can show me where cars are for sale that make mine look ridiculously expensive then PM me and i would happlily take note and possibly adjust my price but just saying this car sold for that and so on means nothing because how does anyone know if its true or not. I can clearly show several cars that are advertised currently where mine its much better value.
All i wanted to do was post an advert not start a debate.
Hopefully people may now stop posting trying to devalue other peoples cars.
Also i would like to say thank you to those people on the site who have helped me with various questions thoughtout my 3 and half years of exige (s1 & s2) ownership.
