I am after a particular exhaust that was fitted to a number of S1 exiges. It’s the one with an exit pipe that is broadly a horizontal rectangular shape with rounded off edges. I think the technical description is a janspeed supersport oval.
I had an Elise 111s back in 2001 and it sounded great and am looking to replicate the same sound. Be good to hear from you if you have one knocking around.
Just in case there is anyone out there who reads this, my name is Chris, and I was a good friend of Con (but not forgotten). I took my original Elise into work one Monday back in 2002, and Con took in his S1 Exige. Needless to say that was a lunchtime to remember great memories of a great friend. I know Con was very active on this forum, and I’m sure the memories of him are as strong as ever. I took my latest 111S purchase round to Beth’s the other day, and we reminisced about Con as usual. Long live those great memories.

I may have that exhaust and I may be changing it. I’d planned to keep whatever I removed during the rebuild and I’m still undecided. If I come to a decision I’ll offer you first dibbs, if of course this is the one…
I’m seeing Beth later and will say how much Con is missed. She will really appreciate that.

Say hello to Beth from all of us. I can only echo what Jonny says, we all still miss having Con around. I was searching on the board for something the other day and happened upon an old thread where I was having some banter with Con…still made me chuckle.
Looking forwards to seeing John piloting W8 CON at Anglesey
As ever, words don’t really cover it, suffice to say Beth was very touched from the comments and the fact that Con is still very much missed by us all.
Talking of banter from previous posts from Con, I was in my emails and found an old one that Con had sent of SnatchWars (stars wars featuring the guy Richie film Snatch as a voice over)…still comedy gold and worth a watch
