Exige S1 EFI Pin Out

I finally got round to installing an Emerald in my S1 and it started first turn of key. I have also found out why the immobiliser never appeared to work, it was missing. I have now got a new one and touch keys coming. I also have no idea why the standard Emerald map has ignition advance for idle control switched off, the same was true for the Exige map in my second hand Emerald. With it switched on it idles much better. I have yet to road test the car but the signs are good.

I expect most people who are going to have done the Emerald upgrade by now. If you have, or plan to, I can assure you the “bodge” of cutting the power feed for the relay really is a bodge as it bypasses the inertia switch. I have installed a second relay in circuit with the adaptor loom to switch on the power which mean the fuel will be cut in an impact.

Now my question. Not that my aircon works (other than in the garage) I want to wire up the aircon control to the emerald, then I can play. The wiring diagram in my “online” manual is so blurred I cannot read the pins for AC on, compressor clutch and the two fan speeds. I am also thinking of wiring the recirculate pump so it can be switched on when stopped with my track maps.

If anyone can tell me the EFI pin numbers, or send me a readable page from the Lotus Aircon wiring page, it would be a great help. I have looked online and cannot find it.

My soldering iron is at the ready…

Let me know your email address and I’ll send you a copy.

Or not. Can’t find the AC supplement :frowning:

It is in the normal elise service notes in a supplement before the exige supplement. My copy is a scanned version and too blurred to read. All online versions seam to be the same dodgy original.

I have the original printed version, but cant get a hi res scan of it until next week - if you still need let me know on here …

Thanks.

I have the pin out from Emerald. I plan to hook up the aircon and use the recirc pump for post track cooling.
