Exige S. Part no for uprated 440cc fuel injectors?

Hello

Can anyone confirm the flow rate for the following fuel injectors?

On one side DENSO with 4L8.2 underneath and on the other side: 0670 522 12 with 23250-YW201 underneath. The injectors are green in colour.

I am hoping that these are the equivalent of the RC injectors supplied by Sinclaire Motorsport with their 220 S re-map (upto 240) and do not require new connectors to be spliced onto the original loom.

I have searched high and low but I can’t find anything that will allow me to work out the flow rate from the code or if these are the same as fitted by Lotus in their 220 S upgrade.

Cheers in advance.

I think iirc they are 430’s and not 440’s, thats if what I have read is correct. Not sure if you would need to upgrade to 440’s or not for a gotham tune as I am guessing they are just the same as the stock US injectors and I am pretty sure they use stock injectors in the US Gotham tune.

From what I have read the Sinclaire/Gotham tune uses 440cc injectors (made/supplied by a company called RC). These are not compatible with the standard connectors. Someone was selling a Gotham ECU with a set of RC injectors and a set of the equivalent Lotus injectors but I can’t find it now. I was hoping that the Lotus injectors could be used instead so that the loom didn’t have to be modified.

As far as I know, the Gotham tune (for non-US cars) requires the RC 440cc injectors. The Lotus ones (was told by my Lotus dealer that they were 440cc) will do also but you will likely run slightly leaner than with the RCs (I have dyno charts indicating this). But yes, the RCs will require some splicing.

I was the one selling the Gotham ECU and RC injectors. Already sold the Lotus injectors.

Gotham + Injectors For Sale Thread

If you are going to get the Gotham use the correct injectors and either use convertor cables or splice on the correct plugs (better) if you don’t the tune might not be correct and you could risk running lean and damaging the engine.

Hi all, thanks for the replies.

Hackzi, I don’t suppose that you have the part numbers to hand do you? Could you contact the buyer and ask him for the numbers on the side of the injectors? Can you confirm that the Lotus 440cc fitted the existing loom?

Ade, if I get the Gotham tune I will get a bespoke map for my car. I have spoken to Sinclaires about this and a custom map will be 395. Andy Booth at Sinclaires said that fitting the RC injectors is a cut and solder job. RC didn’t have any suitable fly-leeds at the time of asking (late November-ish).

Thanks again

Lotus part no. for the 440cc injectors (as fitted on the S240 and Cup cars, as well as the US Exige S): A129E6000F

On these Denso green injectors, you should see the following numbers: 23250-YW201

And yes, they are a direct plug-and-play to the existing loom.

Hope this helps.

Hi
Thanks for the information, the injectors that I have have are marked 23250-YW201 so I have the correct injectors. Not bad for 72, I was convinced that I had bought the wrong ones.
Thanks again.
