Exige S outdoor covers?

Looks like an exige might be coming home sooner than I’d imagined, due to my London location the car has to stay outside. Can anyone recommend me an outdoor cover for it, one that will fit well and protect it from the elements?

Regards,
Toy

depends on how mad you wana go, anywhere on ebay from 30 quid, to professinal tailor made ones stormforce 150 quid. i did get a tailor made one does the job however ripped when heavy winds. so i cut mine to shape the tailgate, and just protect the engine and shut the cover in, works really well that does

I’d recommend Specialised Car Covers as my car also lives outside in London - quite a few S1 owners have them.

They made a custom one for me when I fitted a M/S rear wing. They recently changed the material they use to something that is both harder wearing and slightly fleeced on the inside and its a great product. I assume they must have an S2 pattern.

I have a Lotus one and it works well, but my car does live out of the wind.

I had one made for my VX, it was from Covercraft and was around 300 ! Not sure I want to go that mad, it worked very well, very light and small but I don’t use it enough to justify the cost. Upto 200 will be suitable.

Will check out Specialised Car Covers, thanks!

Unless its completely windless, hire a garage.Small movement over time will rub down those high areas like the tips of the spoiler. If the car is not alway scrupulously clean it will be like sandpaper.
Other option is the portable garage, looks like an old style tent.
Don’t get a ‘touchless cover’.

I’m not that precious about my old nail I just want to keep it dry (ish).

If your not fussed about it being brand new I got mine from Pistonheads, there’s normally a few advertised on there. Mind you it only took 3 days until a mouse soon chewed through half of it!! :frowning: So glad I didn’t fork out for a brand new one!

…I did get the mouse by the way!
