I prefer and changed to the Lotus badge (also dropping Exige) as the lettering was a bit too MG/Rover for me but as far as your images are concerned I think it looks alright actually! Each to there own I guess.
Not sure about the decal tbh but I would be getting the boot lid looked at, the fit looks really poor from that pic, is it twin strut lifters?
Mine was twin strut and I had it changed to single and it fits miles better now.
I dont have the ‘LOTUS’ accross the rear clam of my '05 Exige, any reason why? Think I prefer it without, plus those letters are always a pig to clean round, but just curious!

Do you have the badge instead? Mine’s June 05 and has the badge. I prefer it to be honest as it’s the Lotus ‘symbol’ rather than silver letters.
The Lotus roundel (enamel badge) originally only ever appeared on the nose of the car in green/yellow, or sometimes black/silver. During the 80’s & 90’s it started to appear on the flanks (carton/excel) & rear (esprit V8) of the car. Raised chrome lettering L O T U S on the rear of the car dates right back to the early 60’s with the elan & then europa models, & continued through all models in the 70’s & 80’s, so it’s not a new idea.
Personally i never liked the badge on the rear, with one exception…the Mk 1 cortina
i like the badge on the front, but not the back. I dont like the stickers on the back, but do very much like the raised letters - i think its classy. And now i have my sticker in my preferred location.
horses for courses, I guess.
also, not sure why, but i always think someone is likely to steal the badge off the back (obviously they could do the same from the front too…)
