Exige S 2007 Komotec 280 Charge-cooled

Exige S Storm Grey Touring 2007

40k Miles

Originally supplied by Christopher Neil -

Komotec 280 kit installed by Lotus Holland - Charge-cooled, race-radiator, twin oil-coolers.

After I bought it in early 2012 I had a list of works carried out on it and then sent it to Greg at Hangar 111 where I had the gearbox dismantled, re-built and strengthened (Jubu 3, 4, and final drive) as well as a number of other works carried out such as uprated fuel pump, quick-shift gear-linkages, replacement of gear-cables, and replacement of engine mounts.

I have documented expenses and receipts for over 18,000 pounds in upgrade parts and labour excluding charge-cooler and power upgrade.

It is in very good nick except for the front lower end and lip which has small stone chips which are impossible to avoid on this car!

Great spec & a shame you have decided to sell so soon after the upgrades. Good luck i’m sure you’ll get a sale soon

excuse my ignorance but how do I upload pics to the forum? The only prompt I get is to insert a url. Should I insert a link to the photo from dropbox for example?

Thanks a lot. A lot of time, research, money and effort has gone into speccing the car to that level.

Only reason I’m selling is that I have bought a Radical to race in a championship in 2013 and I am looking to replace the Exige with something more wife friendly for road-trips and more comfortable for daily use. Love this car believe me. And I shall probably buy an S1 Elise to keep my Lotus thirst quenched
