Exige prices!

How low are S2 prices going to get…theres a mint S2 with PERFORMANCE pack on Pistonheads for under 22K…seems like a steal at that price, shame it wasnt in Chrome Orange!

higher mileage car much like my own cant believe ive managed 15k in 9 months, but on a positive note it was a very enjoyable 9 months

whats driving prices so low ? its getting silly now (not that I will sell my car anyway). Is it just the S ?

I don’t think the S will have the massive impact everyone suggests. Not everyone buys new cars and there’ll always be a range of budgets looking for an Exige, regardless of variant. There’s a huge difference in price from an S2 to an S. Performance isn’t massively different for the 8-10k premium you need to pay for a reasonable spec. It’s like saying everyone who wants a golf will buy the R32, and the R32 will depress the value of lesser models.

I dont understand why you keep making posts like this; I am sure I remember you posting something similar before in Feb/March.

Buy, Drive, worry about resale when you come to get rid of it.

Have fun looking at S2 prices and making posts about them though!

CARS ARE NOT AN INVESTMENT. spunk yo’ cash and dont look back

It’s just interesting and gives us some thing to talk of. Stunning S1 on Piston heads today! Yellow and a great spec. Steel at 19k!!!

I got bored looking, but this should make my point.

Im NOT worried at all mate, ive got an S1!

Well see the post above, and be worried about how much time you spend looking at S2`s that are for sale…

ARE YOU STALKING ME???

P.S Dont suppose YOU have got an S2 by any chance???

Stalker ? C`mon thats pish you can do better than that!

3 mins to look back at your previous posts, look how many you make about S2 prices.

Yes I do have an S2, but then I dont go posting about every single “cheap” S1 that comes up for sale…
Have fun asking peeps what they paid for their cars stalking those S2 prices anyway!

There does seem to be an element of gloating (i.e. it doesn’t seem particularly friendly, like the post about the crashed S2). I agree with exigeboy, spend it and enjoy it. A car is worth what someone will pay for it, no point worrying about it.

I do not mean to attack you, but why do some people insist on comparing the price difference between a specced up S and a std Exige? Compare apples with apples… A new exige S costs 3500 quid more than a std exige of the same spec.

Anyway, just getting it off me chest

In the end of the day, this is just a forum and we are just talking about car prices. No big deal. It has given us two pages of posts, so it must be of some interest. I for one find it interesting that a car 4 years newer and of a similer spec are starting to sell for less than the older model

Are they, haven’t seen one yet. Remember the price on the windscreen is not the price the cars sell for. Anyone can ask 24k for their MRK1 or 30k for their year old MRK2 two but they probably will not sell them. Looking at the cars for sale at the moment most mrk1 are under 20k with the odd low milage car over 20k
