Is it just me or do the prices for all Exiges seem to be firming?
You will struggle to get an S2 for less than �17k or an S for �22k these are the same as a year ago if not a bit better.
And the S1s have not changed and if anything have gone up.
I was a bit suprised looking on PH, S1’s will soon overtake S2’s.
I think only because there are so few for sale they are asking more for them, th seemed to only get down to about �16know the cheapest are more like �18k
Supply & demand for S1s will no doubt continue to drive their prices up. Makes no odds to me, & most other owners though… 
I agree that more and more owners are keeping their S1 Exiges. This will keep pushing up prices. Also the fact that so few S1s were made also helps. I think a good standard S1 Exige is now �22-25k. As long as my wife does not find out what it is worth I will never sell. 
So for the price I paid for mine and all the work I’ve had done I should just break even!!!

My opinion is that the S1 Exiges are still in the same range of � 16.000 - 22.000 as from 1-2 years ago, only that the “quality” of cars is decreasing from what I heard. Let’s be honest, a 10+ years car will always need attention (but with the time passed, I guess most of the problems are now identified), so I think the chassis condition (accidents…) is now the main criteria if you want to buy such a car. Comparing to S2 (which have also production problems), the S1 must be looked after by an owner that has some kind of knowledge in cars restoration, not maintenance.
S1s are definitely on the up. When I bought mine there was a good range of choice at around 18k pounds… now you’re lucky to find ANY at that price point, the semi-decent cars being in the 20-25k range.
Definitely, less of the nice / lower mileage ones are coming up now as these tend to get snapped up by people who want to hold onto them. More and more are falling into the hands of collectors (like most of us on here) who are buying them as a long term prospect, not as a toy to have for a year then flick on before the service is due.
