Thanks for this. Tried it but no luck. Spoke to a garage and they advised not to use WD40 as it washes away all existing lubricant. Suggested working engine oil into the lock. Tried this also but still no luck.
Have accepted that I may have to buy a new filler cap, but does anyone have suggestions on how to remove the current one which I can’t unlock.
Also most competitve place to get a new one from.
Appreciate any input.
