Exige Manifold on standard K-series

I have my Exige manifold for sale but have just been told that it is not suitable for the standard k-series engine (i.e. 120bhp or VVC) as the bore is too big (looses low end torque).
Is this correct?

In my experiance the increased top end will more than make up for any drop in torque at supermarket car park speeds. The car WILL need remapping though to take advantage of the improved breathing
