Better than quantative easing for getting the Greek economy back on its feet, I suppose
And how much does the shipping cost per clam? I would think it would be quite expensive what with the size of the boxes they will be sending…
It says shipping is included in the price.
They are origami clams, & are shipped Ikea stylee
PS What’s this about leading RussT astray? Nice one, mate

You mean like a raft? Will it have a sail or an outboard motor?
Come to think of who will navigate, or is that extra?

George has now said that he will sell a full set of GT3 clams for 800 if you collect them yourself!
It could definitely be worth a garage collecting several sets and bringing them back to offer a supply, fit and paint solution!

Or you could have made to a desired spec. An example maybe like learning from what Nick or Gav are pioneering on there threads therefore making it easier for the rest of us. Respect where it’s due and all but makes complete and utter sense to me…
What people seem to forget is that these clams were originally for the race cars.
Although they may of looked pretty when blasting past at 100mph the reality of it is the panel gaps and fixings on the factory cars were never that good to start with. Its a bit like driving through the town on a Saturday night, all the birds look great at 30mph, stop and take a closer look a you will see some right horrors.
Here is a picture I took some years ago of the factory cars at Rockingham using the very same c/f clams that Im using on my build. Its not the best pic but if you look at Gav Kershaw’s car in the foreground you will see the dodgy panel closure from the front clam to the door…
Thats what I have to start with and trying to make good!!
(Russ was racing one of the other factory cars in the background this day )
You’re telling me they weren’t good!!
And thats before you consider no indicators, lower air intake than standard, interesting headlight mounts!!
Interesting to see that the guy on Seloc is also showing that he has the road car concept front clamshell, which solves some of the issues.

Obviously this deserves to be resurfaced
