LeonWhy ?

Easily the best handling car Ive ever driven, but the girl friend hates it. So its got to go [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/frown.gif[/image]Not all bad I suppose purchased a Tuscan as a replacement. Just have to watch out for those corners now!

You could try posting:WANTED - Girlfriend that likes Lotus Exige. Must be able to operate Sony Minidisk under 1g of cornering and both look good in and gracefully get in and out of gorgeous top handling sports car![This message has been edited by IDG (edited 26 September 2002).]

I dont believe such a woman exists ! I tried issuing mine with a set of ear plugs before each journey still not happy.

Leon, I don’t understand, my GF insisted I bought the Exige over any thing else. She’s even driven it on the track!Regardless, hope you enjoy the TVR!DJ

What do you want for the girlfriend ?[This message has been edited by SPEEDY (edited 26 September 2002).][This message has been edited by SPEEDY (edited 26 September 2002).]

Took my g/f to a wife swap party - b*stard gave her back next morning!

That made me laugh

It gets worst - I swapped her for a socket set and he took that back!

An interesting off-topic developing here - girlies like/dislike of ExigesMy other half used to love the Elise - let me do Sprinting, but loved Fish n Chip runs etc - but she hates the Exige - thinks it is noisy, cramped and a horrible colour (how can anyone call Chrome Orange horrible)Why do girlies dislike Exiges more than Elises?

Mark glad Im not alone here.My g/f used happily drive my elise when she tried the exige for size it scared her stiff. Hated it from then on. I now get silly comments from her like Im not going anywhere in that flippin space ship thing

My gf reckons that my old S1 111S was a ‘she’ whereas the Exige is definately a ‘he’, perhaps that explains it?DJ

Had the same problem with my last girlfriend, went something along the lines of it’s orange and noisy and has a big wing. Not to worry problem solved new girlfriend loves it.

Mine loves the Exige - but she will insist on trying to drive it like her Saab and not reving it enough…Wonder if he’s sold that Exige yet - seeing as we’ve stolen his thread?

As the woman factor with Exiges is the reason the thread started, its not a problem. Its still up for sale going to be in the London auto trader next week hopefully it will generate some interest there.

Got a few pics of it at http://www.pistonheads.com/ads/displayAd.asp?advertId=6066 Leon[This message has been edited by leon (edited 12 October 2002).]
