Built to customer order only, I suspect.

Interesting use of the new style dash without an airbar wheel. Quite like that.

Does “big box” on the passenger side cover extinguisher (or hair dryer)?

Yep

Pah do Lotus not realise that extinguishers in the footwell are cool

Probably an EU/Dutch safety rule?

Yep

Thanks for the clarification, Nico

Not that I know of. Did you noticed the lack of the roll cage btw. Apperently this (all?) cup car was delivered with the cage as a dealer install. So basically it can be gotten as a real roadgoing version (as long as the pax doen’st mind folding his/her legs).

More than anything though, as Will mentioned, its just nice to see a decent interior I reeeally dont like the whole plastic federal dash and airbag look this one looks fab

I wasn’t so sure about the whole interior. All the extra alcantara trimmings aren’t really in keeping with the what should be the CUP 260 ethos. Even the air vents and sill covers have been treated. I’d be happy with it in plain plastic, or better still carbon, as long as it didn’t have that horrible airbag wheel.

I am sure one can ask Lotus to leave it all out. Will probably cost extra though.
