Hi,
since March 2011 I’m the owner of Exige CUP 190 n� build 001.
My car was presented in Geneva Motorshow 2004, it was in storm titanium color. In the past years Lotus Cars ltd upgraded it into a superchager and made other mods. After that car was modded by Komotech and reached, about, 300 PS.

It is possible to know how many Exige Cup 190 Lotus build? I remember a short productions like 20/22 cars ? It is possible to have some infos?

Why not contact Lotus directly and find out.

Speak to Andy Graham of Lotus Technical & Archives.
For �35 (I think) he’ll give you a nicely printed letter with info about the specific build of your car, and probably advise on the overall number that they produced.

I’ll message you his details when I get a chance.

Yes I know this service from Lotus Car but it would be nice also to find other owners, I remember a friend of mine in Italy which had a white one, a red one was on sale here in Switzerland till some months ago…Others? :slight_smile: No one here?

Know of an orange one that had stripes front to back - one white, one silver from memory. Was one of the original press cars as far as I know. Also had the Lotus 240R supercharger kit fitted for the new owner.

John is just crap at describing things. I’m pretty sure he means the stripes were coloured. One white and one silver. The car itself was Orange.

@ Roby: Interesting story about your car.

My Exige (no Cup, MY 2005, storm titanium) was also a N/A car. In 2010 I have fitted the 240R factory supercharger kit and this year some further mods by Komo-Tech.

Could you please list the modifications you have done to achieve 300 PS? Do you still have manual throttle and the T4 ECU?

my car was the prototype used by lotus to develope supercharger kit in 2004/2005, then gone to Komo-Tech to achieve that power. At the moment i haven’t the detailed list of mods cause i bought the car already modded but, i wrote to Komo-tech giving vin number to have the list.
When i will have it I will post here :slight_smile:

do you have a picture of your engine bay? Especially from the induction and header? Furthermore I would like to know if your car is charge cooled or do you still have a intercooler (very big roof scoop :sunglasses:).

The first supercharger kit from Lotus was a crappy setup with a fifth injector (240R). I think Komo-Tec has changed it to four bigger injectors. Could you see what colour the injectors have?

@Bomber: I don’t think so. In internet you can see dozen of Exige with wing like this, but don’t know the origin :frowning:
