I’ve recently bought an Exige S with a Lorini sports exhaust, and want to do some track days. Does anyone have any idea how many decibels my car is likely to be putting out ?

There is an info page on SELOC about this - from memory I think about 102 dB, but would have to check?

My car is the same (S with Larini) and it is pretty loud - but, as an aside, my Ducati has carbon cans with no baffles and I believe as loud as the Lotus and it just scraped through at Oulton Park last year?

BTW, is your car a Red one from up in Scotland or a white one - I noticed those 2 being for sale on PH’s recently, both sold and both had Larinis’?

Ah, I think that would be off a guy called Tony Hethrington - appeared in an EVO mag article about Exiges, as the “I Bought One” contributor.

Information from Larini for the Larini Sport System (so not the Club Sport which is louder): “Decibel reading = 95db from 1 metre @4500rpm at a 45 degree angle.”

I have it on my S and would not believe that it goes up the 100db.
