The 50% increase in the number of steered wheels was quite novel, yes…joint sheared straight through the neck, level with the locknut, leaving the latter & threaded stub in the link.

I bought mine from Spitfire Engineering, utterly brilliant!
Have fitted a standard joint, but I think the upgraded set-up might be a plan.
