Evoactive/Heritage track days

Guys 'n gals,

Has anyone been on any of the abovementioned track days? Any comments to make in terms of track time available within the sessioned format, number of cars on track, general quality of marshalling etc?

BTW I’m under no illusion that it would be fun to get out on circuit with the EVO boys. I’ve experienced John Hayman and Roger Green’s tuition before – which in the case of John consisted of power sliding a 996 GT3 through several corners up the top end of Donington park, steering from the passenger seat, while shouting "DON’T LIFT, DON’T LIFT, DON’T LIFT!! If there was one moment that made me realise in a nutshell how much more there is for me to learn about car control, that was it

So that’s a “no” then, or you just all hate me?

Well, I for one found your little anecdote very entertaining

David

have done them in the past, and all I can say is they don’t stick in my mind either as being especially good or bad. I have generally moved away from sessioned days now and much prefer open pit lane days.
