Don’t expected details of the updates to the Espirit, this is purely a comparison article.Don’t read on if you’d prefered to read the article with out me ruining the outcome…Basically, they felt the Espirit had a better chassis (they loved the steering) and looks.The Noble’s engine beat the Lotus’ and they felt it had more charisma.The Espirit wins but both score 4 stars. Which is one less than the top marks the Exige got when they tested it and refer to the Exige in the opening paragraph as “gem-like”.The real winner was Nick Whale that got a great big plug for supplying the cars. It even said they were the biggest Lotus dealership in the country, which I doubt will please B&C.
