every cloud has a silver liningxxx

@ work…djin in a club. car parked outside where i have parked without prob for 6 years. Manager from next doors venue walks in and says, “who’s is that lotus outside?” i reply mine  he then tells me that he saw some one run over the front and has cracked it real bad. Me being hardened to practical jokes says yeah ok pal, ill have a look in a min.
walks, skips runs then runs like fook outside lol. group of doormen and managers pointin at my car. sure enough bit of a crack on the clam shell. im thinkin hmmmm not much damage really, anyway i was fumin all the same. police were informed, any way they caught the little cu=t and he is in custody! his prints are all over the car of which the police are due shortly. the police told me he WILL go to court and be done for criminal damage, then he will be made to pay the costs!!! that will be a new alloy radiator! a new genuine lotus exige front clam plus paint and plus fitting…a good 3000 i think. serves him right the little prick!!!

had a few stone chips anyway ;)and he has rammed the hindge of the bonnet into the rad which now looks to be leakin mmmwwahhahahahahha

There are some pricks about

Had an interesting scenario like this with my G/F car, two guys had a punch up on the bonnet of her car 1500 of damage, claimed through the insurance, paid the excess, no effect on no claims and it does not have to be declared, the insurance company then go after the relevant people for the recovery of their costs if\when they get it back they return you excess to you.
What they told us on the phone is the little scrotes that do these types of thing have no money therefore you will never get your money (excess) back in the long run but it also saves you having to get to court to get your car repaired so it’s a bit of a toss up really.
In the long run it worked for us as there needed to be work done on the front of the car that exceded our excess costs so we got it done cheaper than it would have been. A word of warning not all companies offer this, so check with them first

Bloody hell what a nightmare. It’s just the bloody hasstle of having to deal with it all isn’t it!

just recieved check for the damage to my car. 3760!

lets hope they cure the performance issues for rather less
How much are the repairs costing in the real world?

100 4 sum stripes

:sunglasses:

Result !!
