To transfer the power from the engine the RS4 engine uses a sintered double clutch plate.

The gearbox and transaxle is from an Audi A8 Diesel. 6 forward gears and reverse.
You can get a racing paddle clutch for the engine though (MTM, I think). Some of the lads have had them in their RS4’s. Not all that good for the run for a pint of milk though mind, quite arkward to pull off smoothly.
