Having come from a Honda car to 240PP Exige S and able to see the engine move in the rear view mirror I am wondering about mount inserts
What is consensus and which ones do we prefer?
Don’t want the vibration of the Honda but worry about how much engine moves under power

I found the powerflex yellow ones very good. Didn’t really notice much difference with vibration after they had bedded in.
Powerflex black series lots of vibration for first 100 or so miles till they settle in. Now very few, engine doesn’t move and gear change is great.
Rear view mirror ?
Toss that straight in the bin !

did wonder about binning mirror but is it not an MOT need?
assume there is a reason lotus fit them

extra unnecessary weight
only useful for girls

I have the elise-shop black ones, supposed to be a bit softer than the powerfex, very happy with them…
Mirror? What mirror 
I had the yellow ones in my S2. Only ones I have experience with and as others have said they are great, with no real extra vibration or harshness.
I tried the powerflex black ones, and they made little difference, so swapped them out for the powerflex yellow, which was a huge improvement.
