Got a problem fitted my pro alloy intercooler and pipes first run out ave got engine warning light on any ideas boys
That was like reading a stream of conciousness
Check no air leaks, no vac pipes disturbed when you fitted it, and the temp sensor is plugged in.
never heard of a MIL light from an inter cooler install, same as above, make sure you have not disturbed anything and the clamps are all tight
Why have you stuck a Pro Alloy intercooler on yer tractor?
Must be a February thing - I took mine out from a couple of months storage yesterday, gave it a tank of petrol and commuted to work this morning.
Drove out of work this evening and the light came on. I brought it up to temp, all seemed fine with the engine running smooth, pulling strong and idling nicely. I pulled over and tried turning off and on a couple of times and on the third go the light stayed off. I proceeded to give it a few miles of an Italian tune-up and all seems fine.
My engine setup has been the same for over 18 months now - K&N, CN260, 2bular and a forge intercooler, first time I’ve seen the light on.
Just get an obd 2 reader/reset tool , cheap these days and give peace of mind as soon as the light comes on …
Even mobile phone apps do this these days.
Fair point, and an inevitability I suppose. Was about to go order the Kiwi2 for gadget appeal since I use Harry’s lap timer the odd time.
But I see there are some more options now like the iOBD2 or something - I’ll take a look and see.
