hey just a quick one, took my car to my local garage yday and they left the lights on over night, flat battery so they recharged it without taking battery out, now the engine man bottom right light has come on, any idea apart from taking back to lotus to reset it. does anything not work properly when this light is on?

Take it back to Lotus and explain what happened (as long as it starts ok)- they should be ok about it.
My own experience of the EML coming on was using 95ron fuel.
in the manual it says use 95 unleaded fuel (normal green one) anyways.
Don’t panic yet …
They sometimes go out on their own accord after a few starts …
Ignore it, it should go off after a few restarts and running it around a bit. If it’s still on after a week or starts flashing take it to a dealer to get reset.

i found another way of turning off man light, at the weekend the car battery died so had to go through inspection cover and do it that way cos of dead locked doors, and then change battery lol, job sorted
