Could someone please inform me on how to bypass my immobilser as my car is failing to turn over. I drove to my work then returned to my car an hour later when the car failed to turn over. All fuses appear to be ok and the fuel pump is priming, however that is it no click when the key is turned and no engine life.
might be best handled as a PM, if anyone want to reply
that doesn’t sound like the normal failure of the immobiliser usually they turn over just don’t run…
If you do not start the car straight after dissarming the alrm the immobiliser kisk in after about 30 second or so and the car will not turn over - this is exactly the same however the alrm is dissarmed immediately before trying the ignition and still no fire up.
The immobilisor switches out both the crank and coil circuits … so its possible it wont turn over.
Best to just jump out the connector to isolate it and be sure.

Andy thanks for the info, it was indeed the imobiliser and the car is back in rare health.
