Hi All,
Does anyone know where to get the engine cover with the small vents. I have seen the one with the large vents but am concerned about water drainage.
I have an Exige pic with the smaller vents and wondering who can supply that.

If you are meaning the motorsport cover i am pretty sure that Maddog can help you there. Send him a PM and he will point you in the right direction.
Iv been searching also for engine covers at the moment since the one on my exige has the tinting peeling off in some places.
Does anyone make the motorsport engine cover but in transparent perspex or similar? Would be perfect to retain some visibility and make the engine bay loose some heat.
I’ve got a standard engine cover in excellent condition for sale if anybody’s interested. It’s in mustard yellow.

Try Kelvedon in Lincs - I seem to remember they had one on one of their race cars…

Thanks. Will try that if I can’t repair mine.
Brendan, I just emailed you.

Ahh. I was more thinking of having the fin area in perspex and the intake part painted. Kind of like the stock part but with motorsport cooling fins. Kind of like the engine cover of the F40

or do it yourself, like i did to a spare original cover.

Me too.

Different approach that doesn’t let the water in and sucks out the hot air - only out of the engine bay though; the driver is still full of it

Now that really does look neat - can we have some more photos - close-ups and a write up of how you did it please
Whilst we are asking for pictures
Mike, I dont suppose youd mind putting up a few more of your car, Ive never seen that kinda pinstriping before, and I imagine it looks rather cool .

Yes please. That is what I was looking for sort of. That will do the job just fine IMO and will help to reduce temps. No aircon here. heh.
I would be very wary about water ingress into the engine bay with that cover - particulary around plugs/coil other electrical components.

David,
They’re nothing special - just a few pinstripes around the roof scoop and rear clam superstructure. I have stripes on all my cars - it goes with the name I don’t seem to have many photos of the roof and deck but this one shows it off a bit and also gives a different view of the vents

I’m sure you’ve seen my car before, David but the stripes are so insignificant you didn’t even notice…
