EMU Black installation

I’m in the procress of installing a EMU PnP on my Exige S, im following the installation guide.

But im confused about the guide for installing the vacum line

Connect the vacuum hose to the EMU Black PNP ECU nipple. In the NA variants the nipple is located near the throttle body, blanked with the rubber cap. Supercharged versions require a nipple to be installed. We suggest to install it in the aluminium bend before the supercharger.

I have a supercharged car so i would assume it would want the reading post supercharger but the guide is saying pre supercharger.

This forum post seems to agree with me that the vaccum line should be post SC

Anyone have experience with installing these?

I agree with you, in that it’s better to go post IC. The problem is, that puts you with a longer hose run because the ECU mounts over by the IC inlet pipe.

For a what it’s worth, I ran it pre- in my Exige with a smaller hose, and am running it post- in the 2-Eleven with a longer hose. Obviously the IAC temps are different, but your tune will tune around that regardless. End result seeks insignificant.

Ok, thanks. I’m planning to add a fitting to the inlet manifold as i have the engine out atm so i can take it from there. i think that would be the best for shortness of line and best IAC reference

Yep, that’s the sweetspot.

Think mine is on the outlet of the cooler

I drilled and tapped a 1/8 npt hose tail fitting onto the inlet manifold
