After spending some hours looking for doggy sensor etc… I really miss to have the opportunity to diagnose the car throw emerald software…
If I have understood it correctly if I buy a new emerald it will just be a plug and play job, but if I find a old used one I might have to solder all the wires to the “new” emerald plug to make it fit…??
I guess it would be ok just to use a standard Emerald 190 map for my car since I running the 190 map from Lotus… … ??
Others think I need to think of…???. emerald is not using the Map sensor if I remember correctly…?
On an Exige you will need to graft on the Emerald connector and reverse the polarity of the fuel pump relay.
This is straightfroward but a PITA since it has to be done in the cabin. If you specify that the ECU is for an Exige then it will come with the necessary firmware/pull up resistor to drive the aircon.
It comes with a map for the stock 190 engine and it does not use the MAP sensor.

Just reading you previous post
Does the Emerald ECU, switch off the fuel pump after 2 seconds like the Lotus one, after installing mine I have not tried to start the car yet but have noticed when I switch on the ignition the fuel pump just runs all the time?
Also where could I get a default configuration file for a 190 VHPD without air con?
Cheers
