Emerald ECU ???

Should I or shouldn’t I? Used only for track events in the USA. I am planning on doing Piper camshafts and porting and polishing. Should I also use an Emerald ECU? Advise would be appreciated…

If you want to tune the K-series engine I think the answer is almost certainly yes. The std Lotus ECU isn’t very flexible.

Definately the way to go Also fit vernier pullies too, so you can make the timing spot on

It is the way to go, but make sure you, or someone you know locally, is going to be able to use the Emerald software to get the best out of it. Most people go to see Dave Walker for rolling road tuning and it is a fair hike from where you are…

Thanks guys. I know where to go for quick and knowledgeable answers!!! I do have Vernier pullys on order as well. Since Dave Walker is not too close, what do I do about tuning? Does anyone have his phone number and will he be of assistance?

I understand he is VERY helpful, I’d be surprised if he didn’t.
