As I’m continuing to learn about the lovely ol k series engine, I have a nice easy question.
Coming from the dirty world of turbos where my car was mapped to Shell Nitro Optimax Uber duber fuel, will the emerald relearn the tables if I use it in this car? Unsure if it was originally mapped on 95ron etc.

doubt it, it’s CPU is not a neural net processor; a learning computer.
in all seriousness it’s got no knock sensor, so can’t be say mapped on the aggressive side with det detection to back it off with lower octane fuel.
K6 & K3 claims it can adapt if it has a wide band lambda probe, I have not tried it so cannot comment on its effectiveness.
