Was good to see you all again (Pesky, Steve, Matthew and Shagy )I gather the guys that flipped their M3 Convertible are OK except for a broken bone (very very lucky guys)Sorry I didn’t get time to take you out for a ride Matthew [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/frown.gif[/image]The new P-Zeros took a surprising amount of abuse showing relatively little tyre wear…I’m bored of Elvington now (unless it’s raining !!)
Yep, really good to see you guys as well [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]Big thanks to you & Steve for fantastic (but completely different!!!) passenger rides - you’re a couple of nutters [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]It is good news about the blokes in the M3 - it could have been very, very different. The “pop up” rear headrest extenders really saved their bacon, after the screen/surround appeared to have partially collapsed. Top marks to the Bookatrack crew/ St Johns Ambulance team who responded immediately, & very effectively dealt with a nasty incident.
Hey, I’m not a nutter…I didn’t spin the car once…Which the same can’t be said for Steve “the hat” McGreen

David…was suffering very little lateral grip from non-existent tread on AO39’s they were dead after the last Elvington…just wanted to see how far down the cords where! If you haven’t spun at Elvington you haven’t been trying hard enough…thats what its there for.Bored of Elvington…bored of life…(don’t mention the hat, luckily I managed to delete the only pic I had of me wearing it).
Sorry to have a missed a ride on the Skylark.A39 tyre was OK when just pushing hard. Start sliding and it gets messy. I was down to the wire.David - I’ve taken your lead and “invested” in the Disco to tow toys around.
Nice one ! Smart move !Does it have the crazy interior like Steves ?
bugger me… bought an exige to ween myself off landrovers…we must have an off road day in the summer…driving some of the greenlanes in the peak district…especially if you have never been off road or havent learnt how to use the hi/low-diff lock…
It a “Serengeti” - Td5 S with a few bits on basically. “Limited Edition” which for Land Rover I assume means they will build as many as anyone wants and stop when there are no more orders.Black with black interior, black wheels, black everything. “It can’t get no more black”
