Was a good day had a firend do really well in his first races Ken Savage.
Spent the day helping DaveP get into his first race, we had an intermittent problem which reduced power.

I went along for the Sunday. Enjoyed watching the racing. Some of those historic touring cars looked great fun.
I saw the groups B & C lotus race from the outside of the first corner and watched lots of cars have trouble when it started to get slippery. Shame the race was red flagged.
Evosal: I bet it was awesome starting the race from pole! What happened during the race? Did you break something?

It was awesome starting from pole but ive had an electrical problem in both races this weekend whick keeps causing a shutting off of power for a split second but it was doing it about 40 times per lap we changed everything we could lay our hands on to do with the electrics.
On the green flag lap i went a bit quicker than the usual pace and it seemed ok, gunned it from the lights at the start but as soon as i went round Redgate it went on 3 cyls bloody pluglead had fallen off the dizzy.
Managed to re-join after a quick pitstop but the original elecrical problem started again, ended up retiring as it was hopeless. Think i will take up crown green bowling or something instead
Anyway if you really do fancy a go at racing you could always hire a fully prepped elise off Russ from lambogenie !! i guarantee you would love it

Of course not. She is currently still in mint condition in a dehumidified/heated garage with a fleese lined car cover on!
