Elise Shop 308mm discs

Probably bit of a long shot - has anyone tried Elise Shops 308mm discs inc. aluminium bells?

The price is tempting as they’re cheaper than the standard drilled discs

I havent tried these but dont forget the +vat +import +shipping

They seem more expensive than these?

Cheers Andy, I’m after the 308mm for my car as it’s got the BBK on the front.

The Elise Shop discs I linked to do appear to be the cheapest option out there for 308mm discs even with import, VAT and shipping factored in.

There’s not a lot of info on them out there so thought I’d post here to check they’re not too good to be true before taking the plunge!

Ill get my coat!

 :+1:

ive just made my own set up using floating bells as there isnt much choice out there

Sounds interesting.

Did you already have the bells and commission some discs to be made to spec?

Made my own bells as i make them for different cars anyway, they are similar to my atom bells i make which are nearly the same

The discs i got commisioned were from hi spec motorsport,i have the drawing of them

Have to ask. I have a custom set as well for the rears. What bolts and nuts are you using?

i have some stainless bolts with special nuts that cannot come lose out of them selves. Not sure a washer is needed under the bolt?

I only use AP mounting bolts 1/4-unf

Washers under the bolt head and nut on the rear

I bought the 308 mm Alcon discs for my BBK from seriously lotus, they were great!

Just to conclude this, I went for the 308mm Elise Shop discs and bells in the end, they arrived via UPS today.

Turns out there was no duty to pay - just a £13 handling fee and then the VAT.

£444 all in which I thought was pretty good, being cheaper than the single piece, drilled Lotus discs.
