Elise/Exige/Elige Honda NA - My Car

Just fitted a Cup 260 roof this afternoon, that I had painted:

Looks good! Nice and shiney too!

Very nice!

Top top!

Love the carbon fibre ! what was the damage on the front carbon splitter ? can see any exige stuff listed on there website

Can’t remember, but it was reasonible.

Give them a call! If you do order one, I could be interested in getting a spare (work in Sunderland if you decide to go ahead).

Some more up to date photos from Blyton Park at NYLOC’s 15th Anniversary Trackday:

Looks great! I love the blue/black-carbon contrast :sunglasses:

Yep looks really good

very nice car
the same way for me http://www.exiges.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16974
info possible for the engine /exhaust

Had some requests to see some photos of the wide side scoops fitted (aka Dumbo ears).

Love the bike rack on the back.

Reverie Mulsanne C seats fitted tonight and bike rack removed

And I get all the carbon jokes

How much does it weigh?

your’s another ‘elige’ converted car?

Looking good

Not weighed it recently, but if I was to guess, I would say circa 750kg. Certainly know it’s sub 800kg. Most people don’t get weight saving, but then again most of them don’t drive their cars hard enough on track to understand the difference a 90 kg pax makes. Let alone how it translates to the road.

Would like those carbon doors, but having just moved house (with a massive garage), I can’t justify spending anymore money on the car while we need need a new new kitchen etc.

Where is yours at the mo? Dyno days are old skool, we should have a weigh day!

@Muu, yep an early 2001 S2 Racetech (registered 01/01/2001) with a few mods over the years.

clue was in the title really eh!

750 aint bad at all, mine when last weighed was 808 (a 2003 elise 135R wearing exige bodywork, cup 260 back, and Honda lump but it is also SC and CC’d, plus also mulsanne C)

Still in two minds about SC & CC’ing it. I have had the NA Honda for 7 years now. While the extra power would be useful, I just love the driver involvement of the NA. Power to weight feels about right, but that extra power of SC & CC is always in the back of my mind.

If Dan at SPS Automotive ever has a quiet period, I could be tempted…

Would I SC + CC mine again if I could travel back in time, sure.

Would I consider sexy ITBs and some trick cams, and uprated F20c based oil pump (so it can rev higher)? Sure.

would I leave it as is, hehe nope

Great looking car and an excellent spec, no suprise though as its coming from North Yorkshire

My NA Honda S2 Elige weighed in at 830kg in competition spec with the T45 cage and Tillets. Sub 800kg is very good. Marc P must have put lead roofing on mine when he built it
