Elise 1 or 2 for my sister

Hoping you guy’s can give me a hand.After having to surgically remove my sister form my exige a few weeks ago at the track, she has decided that she wants an elise.Problem is over here the elise 2 is about 8,000 pounds more at today’s exchange rate, is it worth it.

I don’t know about �8000 better, but it is definately a better product. Better build quality (not a word often used when talking about a Lotus!) and road manners.Alistar McQueen told me (name dropper!) that Lotus have supplied loads of rear clams for the S1 and most S2 clams have been front ones. Which I guess tells you a bit about the handling bias of the two.If you’re new to this type of car I would have thought the S2 was far less likely to bite you on the arse, while at the same time being lovely and chuckable (if a bit slow on a track compared to the Exige).Ian [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]
