not in a lotus, But you guys are liabel to have done similar things, im running a highly tuned 1900 K series, were putting it in the car, with the blades of the water pump removed, and a electric pump in system, thing is now were doing it the finer points of plumbing, and how we run the heater circuit are causing debate.! any one moved to soley electric pump setup. ?

Yes, I run an electrci pump in my exige that has an Audi engine in it and I also ran an electric pump for a time with my K series. Its a very good setup especially for a track car as the water keeps circulating after you have turned the engine off.
My car hasn’t had the heater for a very long time, but I can’t think of any reason why you cant leave the heater circuit as is. Send it to the heater after it leaves the engine and put it back in before the pump.
