Electric to manual windows......

Firstly and most importantly will this save weight as I’m on a bit of a mission, if so how much does anyone know and what bits do I need?

The second reason why is because after fixing both a few times already I’m done with them!

Oh and Merry Christmas Exiges.com here’s for a Happy dry New Year!

Electric ones are slightly lighter.
I think the holes in the door cards would be different.
Cost would be minimal if you swapped with someone else, might be someone planning a cage where they couldn’t use the winders anymore?

Cut out the mince pies, dude!

Lighter, NO WAY! Looks like I’ll be fixing the drivers side again.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend either, but I believe that those who did, had a great night Maybe they’ll pay me to stay away again next year

Windows …
Had my passenger side front replaced by Autoglass 1 year ago … (VW Golf)
Now its fallen off the mechanism…Autoglass are shirking their lifetime guarantee saying they only warranty the glass itself…

+++Beware Autoglass potential customers +++

Now I,ve siliconed the window up and removed the motor plug!

Good luck with your window fix Jonny… They are very tricky to fix to as new standard (and costly)

Hello mate, you ok? It really pisses me off that sort of thing…What sort of warranty is that, just the glass and not the fitting come on! Hope you get it sorted anyway

Going to leave it the window thing, thought it might save weight and what with the possible clashing also putting in a roll cage after I’ve fitted the extinguisher and isolator. Oh well…wonder where else I can save a few pounds apart from less mince pies lol

Elise Trophy beckons Jonny?

Those PF pads will help a lot

It does but I’m trying to keep it a secret
