Autotorqe will cover pretty much any UK trackday but not europe trackdays regardless of the organiser.

They refused to cover me for track days as my Exige is the first ‘high performance’ ive owned…they wanted me to do a driver training course before they’d cover me!

If you go back to them next year with a few trackdays under your belt then you should be OK.

Agreed but they were still twice as much as Heritage in the Exige insurance stakes!

Dont think I got Heritage to quote last time, in fact don’t think I had heard of them until now, so I have made a note for later in the year…fingers crossed

Yep theyre worth a call, extremely helpful and they call you straight back unlike some other companies we know…ahem!!!

ok, 3 days, 3 phone calls to Autotorque and still no idea/confirmation whether I can get trackday cover on the poilicy I took out with them.

will other companies offer cover even though the main policy is with someone else, or will i have to change insurance overall?
Denis

Competition Insurance / Eggar Lawson will offer it by the day, but it ain’t cheap.

Might be worth cancelling and re-starting.

FWIW, i contacted my insurer (AON) to-day to let them know about the upcoming exiges.com trackday.

No problem they said, you’re covered for 5 trackdays per year at no extra cost. Which is fab & worry free

Tim.
