Hi, just wondering if anybody could give me any advice. I am thinking of having my ecu re-mapped on my n/a Exige to make the cam change at 5750. But having looked at Hanger 111 there seems to be three alternatives , one of these claiming 200 bhp, my car is standard apart from stage 2 exhaust, there is a price difference of 100+, but would i really benefit from the more expensive ? I have tried contacting Hanger but they seem reluctant to reply
The 399 one is a remap to go with other mods. Unless you have the Quicksilver 4-2-1 and ITG airbox it probably won’t be of any use. The 299 one is a remap without the mods so fine for your set up. You can then upgrade to the 399 remap at a lower cost once you get the mods done. Both are done in conjunction with Komotec in Germany and neither are the Lotus motorsport ones. So I understand it.
I am in a similar situation to you but the guys at Hangar 111 have been great at getting back to me. Only issue I have is if I get the 299 one and then go for a non-komotec S/c will it work?!
But as the one at 299 got the same results as the lotus one ?
The cam change mod doesn’t actually do much other than change the cam change up. Its just nicer to drive.
If you got the komotec chip and then had a komotec blower fitted you’d need to remap again anyway.
Ok, but does the Komotec one have exactly the same results as the lotus motorsport just cheaper?

The Hanagar111 one will give you the same results, for less, with the added bonus for people with A type ECUs of being able to reflash them as well. Lotus will only reflash the B type.
I would recommend you speak to Marianne and Greg as you will find that although sometimes there maybe silence which may cause confusion, they are more than willing to help in the long run with product that they supply…I speak from experience I’ve had the cam change and after purchsing a full Q/S system have had all the help I’d expect…Good People, speak to them…when you get the chance
Yes i know what you meen , i have now had a chance to speek to them as they returned my call, although with a bit of delay.
