ECU complete with 260 Code (2-11)

I’ve been looking at some performance mods. The upgraded rad & intercooler to go from 240 to 260 is not entirely necessary as the performance gains are small (in road & track day use).

Deffo worth doing if in need of replacement though.

Does it have full throttle capability?

Hi TT,

Still for sale? or Does the above mail from Boothy mean it is sold.

If still for sale, I like to buy (PM not working).

If not, please provide more info about the 270 ECU as this may be a wiser option for the future.

Regards

Quirin

When I was last @ motorsport they only wanted to upgrade to 255 spec if I changed the roof (scoop) as well.
So surtainly not the ECU alone.

Q.

An ECU & fuel pump is needed to go from 240PP to 260 as the scoop, & bigger brakes is there already. The other stuff is all nice & desirable but no essential.

I have bought it on the provision that it work on an exige which we are going to test out, as I said before we don’t actually know 100% that it will yet.

Have you got a bigger scoop on yet Boothy ?

Yep - it’s flat!

Nope, I’m going to get my air from another source… and more of it

Lotus will tell you that you need the bigger scoop but testing on air flow has shown the bigger scoop only gives a little more air and that is only after 80mph, I have said it before and I’ll say it again I am sure that air will also be warmer than the stock roof.

Edit to say and there is the joke, they fit a bigger scoop yet do nothing about the poor restrictive finish around the mail slot at the clam, I added about 25% to the area there with a dremmel. Oh and sealed it to prevent air leakage.
