Maybe I did it wrong when I bought a plate but the number had to be transferred to a named individual and then transferred to a car that they owned. Whilst the second change was at no additional cost the first change involved a fee that the seller would not pay.
I will check that, I was pretty sure there are no additional charges.
If there is I will gladly pay them as chances are it’ll only be �25 or so.

Mmmm…well granted this is a good plate but a similar plate on DVLA site it �600…E15EXG, E13XGE etc etc

you can get S1 SUX for �500 now that is funny.
but as people have said you can buy E1* XGE for �599 from the DVLA
I think I’ll stick to the plate I just secured for my S1 when it arrives
