Just discovered the above if anyone’s interested …

60 for a power run …

Is it any good?

Looked quiet neat actually …
Had a few nice cars in including Skylines and Cossies … A particularly nice 3 door moonstone blue one had me drooling …

I think a base run on a dyno is essential before any ‘tuning’ bits are added otherwise you may as well be pissing in the breeze !!

Have you had yours done there jfk? Looked at the pics seems they hook it up direct to the axle? Does that eliminate the need for it to run down how they normally do on the roller type machines to calculate the extra hp at the flywheel? Tbh I was thinking of having a ride up there tommoro see what the craic is, would be interesting to see how many of the horses have escaped :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve been using the dynapack that Christopher Neil uses in Northwich …

I think the most accurate way for people to compare is to use wheel hp and not bhp at flywheel because different places use different transmission loss corrections …
Most people on here seem to use 10%

Therefor:
A 189 n/a car is around 172whp +10%=189bhp
A 220 car is around 200 whp+10% = 220bhp
A C/N car is around 240 whp +10%=265bhp
A well sorted 2.9 pulley,d car is around 275whp +10% = 303bhp
If you see what I mean ?

As ever tho its the ‘difference’ between each tuning step that’s important … That’s why a base run is essential in my view

Thats a fair point but at 60 quid a throw even that could turn out quite expensive
