Dust caps

I was wondering how people protect their fingers from that horrible stuff on the dust caps when one is checking the tyre pressures?

I have tried washing the wheels before checking the tyres, but the dust seems to get in the little grooves on the cap and my hands look like [censored] every time I do it.

This could only be from an S2 owner

Lol, as if Russ would check the pressures for himself

It must be a wind up, as if he did, he could just wash his hands afterwards.

But just in case it isn’t: work gloves Russ, thin variety or mechanics latex.
I have always a pair of thin leather mechanic gloves in my toolbox, just in case

I have always a pair of thin [color:“blue”]silk [/color] gloves in my toolbox, just in case

  • Just use those latex one’s you got with Veronique’s nurses costume…

I thought Russ would have swapped them out for gold plated ones - they would probably be much easier to keep clean

Steve

I only said plated not billet

Ah, but they used “Gold Leaf” in the Macca for heat shielding, which weighs only 1/100th of gold plate*!
