to fit s2 Exige
195 AD07s are not available for the Exige fronts - are they?
How much for the wheels only?

if these are sports racer wheels they are thinner at the front by the way ie same as standard wheels.

Yup, as MrD says, hence you can fit AD07’s or A048’s if you want.
Quite a few guys are running the A048’s on standard 111R wheels

Now I am confused, are they the same size as my Std Exige wheels or not?

no sports racer fronts are 16x6 or 16x5.5 not sure now.
exige wheels are 16x6.5 Also the forged Exige wheels are 16x6.5
or 240R wheels are 16x7 to allow 205 Slicks.

Yep, 16 x 6 as I understand it, hence you can fit A048’s or AD07’s
Lotus don’t half make it confusing! They’re both on the B+C website but that’s not very clear either!
But they are a bolt on fitment for S2 Exiges

you cant fit those wheels on an exige they are too skinny at the front,
whats the point in putting thinner wheels on than standard ?
Will you should be advertising these wheels for an Elise Only.
you know that, you should let that be clear.

Nope, you’re the one who’s wrong, they’re fine for an Exige, especially for winter/road use
I know quite a few people who are running these or standard 111R wheels on their Exiges to give a wider choice of road tyres.
Check out the B+C website, they recommend them for Exige use:-
“Forged HP Alloy Wheel & Tyre Set (AD07 Tyres)- For Elise 6 speed & Exige 6 speed”
May be worth you doing a bit more research before quoting information that is incorrect…

Its fine to fit the wheels
what was not clear is what wheels he was selling, untill I pointed it out these were the thinner ones no one knew.
rembember lots of people now want to fit 205 front road tyes like goodyear etc and these will not go on a 6" rim.

I did state in the ad that these are the AD07 tyres (road spec as fitted to the 111R). They only come in one size for front and rear from Lotus, this seems to be common knowledge and a few people who enquired said that they knew the sizes. MrD is not the only one who knows! It’s been discussed on here many times the limitations of tyres to fit the standard wheels.
Oh and the difference is only 0.5 which actually gives you more tyre options than the 6.5 version!
What I was pointing out is it is incorrect to say they will not fit and are not suitable.
Lotus could make it a bit simplier though by getting Yokohama to produce AD07’s in the same sizes as the A048’s

Here’s a pic of them.
Also, to confirm, these will take A048’s if you wish to fit them instead of the AD07’s
I might consider selling just the wheels on their own if anyone’s interested in them without the tyres?
