I see to have an issue regarding a surge in the drivetrain which could be either engine software or transmission related. Any ideas/thoughts on what it is?
I have an Exige S no power upgrades just done 4500 miles less than year old.
Any comments appreciated.

Basically, when I’m changing into second and third the car surges power forward then power off same when engine cold or hot. does not happen in 1st or 4/5/6 gears.
Is that any help, crap at descibing these things, sorry.
Are you saying it feels like the throttle is temporarily sticking when you are changing up from a lower gear to a higher one?
I’ve no specific knowledge on that, but sounds like it could be a dodgy throttle position sensor. I’m sure someone with more knowledge of S2s will be along soon. Is your car the latest spec ie “fly by wire” throttle?
