Driveshaft

For info., I am having my second near side driveshaft replaced under (proper) warranty. The CV joint started “tramping” under power out of slow right handers last week, and finally gave up recently, but I managed to limp home.

Bouncing up and down whilst accelerating, as if you have a lump in the tyre - you won’t remember them, [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image] but similar to a 3 litre Capri

Lotus wouldn’t cover it under warranty until they had looked at it, saying it was a unique problem! B&C handled it with their customary service (see above link for details).Ian [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/frown.gif[/image]
