A couple of questions -

  1. Has anyone done the drift school at Oulton Park, if so was it any good ?
  2. I am having a go this weekend and wondered if anyone had any tips on technique for drifting and stuff (i am using my BMW not the lotus).

No drift gods out there then with some helpfull tips ?

I’ll be there in my old M3, Its a good laugh and worth having a go but not exactly a ‘drift school’, maybe they will give some instruction if you ask nicely but basically just give it a go, you’re unlikely to hit anything if you go off in any event.

Not bad I’ve done half a dozen of these days now so I am getting there. Its not as difficult as it looks in all honesty especially in a RWD BMW.
By all means come over and I’ll take you out for a couple of laps. (My car is a daytona violet M3 with a roll cage)

In an Exige with its short wheelbase and no LSD it’s a bit of a pig to drift.

BMW should be a piece of wee wee to do it it. Set it up with tons of caster on the front and loads of air in the rear.
