dover calais on the ferry

Hi All … am taking my Exige S across to South France using the ferry … i know the problems i have in my local car park going up and down the ramps … whats the deal on the ferrys … will i arrive without a front spoiler in place!!

also any recommendations for the route to Cote d’azur … have a few days so could go via the Alps i guess?

thanks

Ferry is fine for clearance - i’d choose the Tunnel any time though.

No door bashing!

I’d agree with the tunnel sentiment, also quicker I think, just make sure you don’t floor it before you get to the exit ramp or you won’t have any splitter left

Ferry is fine, but worth letting them know when you book that your in a low car. TBH though when the boarding guys see you drive on they’ll just direct you onto the lower deck with caravans and lorrys anyway.

Make sure you drive the Col de Turini! Good fun in an Exige, not sure I would like to do it in anything bigger though…some of the hair pins are very tight…

I like the ferry, becsue you get to have a bit of a walk around and a drink and get some food and stuff.

When i went on the ferry last, i knocked my numberplate off the front, and my s2 is standard ride height, the ramps are high, but if you go at an angle you should be ok. On the way off, one of the ferry marshalls watched me over the ramps

thanks for the advice … the ferry it is … with a spare front number plate i think
