Hi All,
Does anyone knows if the interior door panels (the door panel inserts) at exactly the same for S2 Exige/Exige S with manual and auto windows?
Reason for asking is I’m planning to get some CF door panels for my '07 Exige S (RHD, Euro spec) and was told by some suppliers that they are not sure if theirs can fit cars with auto windows.

Cheers.
As you can imagine the cut out for the window winder or switch is a different shape.
They could probably be made to fit but they might well look a bit strange…
Maybe you could offer to measure and supply the dimensions for the switch? No doubt the market for these with switches will increase as all Exiges/Elise now come as standard with electric windows
I’m sure that lotus will only have had one plastic moulding done for either version to save cost.
I think thats why in the electric version there is a aluminium circle around the button to take up the space left where the winder would go.
i think they are the same, but dont quote me on that
how much are the inserts? not sure if I prefer them to my alcantara, but if the price is right…
If theres a demand and someone can lend me a pair of plain panels untrimmed then I can arrange for carbon versions to be made at a knock down cost, probably FOC for the person who lends us the cards.
The first panels from Bobs Mates Carbon Company are arriving tonight. So far we have front access panels and side scoops made. The front splitter mould is finished but he’s not had chance to knock out any parts yet. The extended front diffuser will be next, then rear difuser.
Carbon door cards for leccy windows would look the dogs. We’ve got to do that soon
I’ve also managed to get an S2 Elise roof bare and the internal layers separate so we can get on with the CF Elise hard top soon which will form the basis for the Cupesque big scoop carbon roof.
I hope to start posting piccies later.
Cheers, guys!
Apparently, the location of the cutout is the same but the size isn’t. But nothing some drilling or filing can’t solve… so maybe I should just get them to drill a smaller hole to start off with.
