Nope I think Mark drove it to the circuit?
I can’t believe how well your diesel Elise goes Phil, although it did have me fumbling for the ‘recirculate’ setting on the fans when I was behind you Absolutely mega and with the new 2.0 it should properly fly
He was doing well…
It wont be smoking next time and should not really of been smoking on Tuesday. I had the turbo rebuilt and it was making some strange chirping bird noises and boost was erratic. It would not boost until over 3000 rpm and was dropping back at 4000 rpm so it was way slower and smokier than it should of been… I think it was somewhere around 180bhp by comparison with other cars in a straight line but should be somewhere around 230 bhp.
The 2 litre 16v engine should be way better than the 1.9 8v, more power, better power band and more efficient.
I did only manage to use 41 litre in 227 track miles on Tuesday 50% of which was biodiesel

Thanks again for the PAX Phil. Diesel Power’s the future
No problem, you got to experience my erratic driving first hand
Hi Phil, no just A048s.
The S2000 does surprise people, but most of the Exiges got the better of me! JonnyF was pulling a good few seconds a lap on me. It’s capable of a lot more than I can do with it. Mate of mine hits 115 mph in the craners on a standard car with road tyres, and can do well sub 9 min laps of the Ring!
It’s probably more suited to somewhere like Spa where it can use it’s top end.
Lower FD on the cards if I keep the car
A great day again nice to see everyone there, shame we had to miss the curry but Jacqui was tired and still had to drive 150 miles home.
Tuesday morning sliding about in the wet

Its 35mins so beware,
Phil
Forgot to say a big thank you to Jonnyfox for the very kind test drive of the NA rocks sibling. An excellent machine.
With the new Kaaz gearkit I think you can tape up the green LED’s on the shift light indicator
Most incredible though were the 4 pot AP’s vs my 2 pots. I had to completely adjust my braking points.
Anytime Wes
